Westley Brummett, 79 years old died Saturday evening at his home near Marysville following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary Brummett, three sons E.C. and H.G. of Marysville and T.V. of Portland and three daughters Mrs. O.A. Simtonton of Everett, Mrs. Nellie Carpenter of Marysville and Mrs. Laura Jackson of Mapato, Wa He was a civil war veteran seriving with Co."F" twenty seventh Mo. Volunteers and was a member of John Buford post #89 G.A.R. The body is at the chapel of John F. Jerread. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
