Joyce "Adams" King of Excelsior springs, Mo passed away Monday September 22, 2014 peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the loving arms of her LORD. Born August 11,1935, in Lawson Mo. to Frank L. Adams and Joan Shelton Adams. She was a lifelong resident of Orrick and Excelsior Springs area. Joyce loved life and family. She spent most of her life planting gardens, canning vegetables, fishing, garage sales and spoiling her grand-kids. She is a born again christian and attended Messenger Chapel Pentecostal Church of God, Richmond, Mo.
She is survived by her husband Willis King, of the home, 3 daughters Rhonda and Wayne Penrod of Rayville, Darla and Pastor Leonard Hendricks of Orrick and Tammy and Kirk Keasling of Excelsior Springs. 4 sons Eddie and Patty Schreier of Jonesboro, Ar. Terry and Tracy Schreier, David Schreier and Steven Schreier all of Excelsior springs. Joyce has 24 Grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Granddaughter with many, many more who called her Grandma. She is proceeded in death by her first husband Forrest William Schreier II, second husband Lloyd "Junior" Forrester, 1 son Forrest "Eugene" Schreier, a great granddaughter Megan Lynn Hendricks and a son in law, Terrance "Terry" Hendricks, Parents, 3 bothers; Farrell, Grover and Gerald Adams. 4 sisters; Zelma Adams, Leona Hagans, Erma Frazier and Joan Meyers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at 5951 E, highway 10 Excelsior Springs Mo. Services with Pastor Leonard Hendricks will be Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at 5951 E. Highway 10 Excelsior Springs Mo.Burial following at Pisgah Baptist Church Excelsior Springs Mo.
