Eleanor Cale Watson, 65, of Route 2, Belpre. died at Parkview Health Care Center, Parkersburg, Wednesday evening after a long illness.
A Parkersburg native, she had resided in the Porterfield area for the past 40 years. She was a member the Porterfield Baptist Church, sang in the church chior, was secretary of the Willing Workers Class and was a member the Porterfield Community Club.
Surviving are her husband Melvin P. Watson; a son Samuel Rex Watson of Belpre; three daughters, Betty Jean Starlin of Route 3, Little Hocking, and Mary Ruth Watson and Toni Marie Shutts of Route 2, Belpre; eight grandchildfren; her mother Faith Cale of Parkersburg; a brother, Clyde Cale of Elizabeth; and a sister Jean Egbert of Palestine.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Porterfield Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery.
