WARE, Charlie F., age 90 of Lakeland, died Friday, September 19th, 2014, due to natural causes. He was born in Fisher County, Texas, on May 19th, 1924, and moved to Lakeland in 1962. Mr. Ware earned a Baccalaureate degree in Business Accounting from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy on the ship USS Xanthus in the South Pacific. He was a store manager for Kress, White's, Montgomery Ward, and Cannon Music Company before starting his own piano retail store, Ware Pianos which he operated until 1998.

Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Odessa Weems Ware who passed away in 1983; his brother John T. Ware; and his sister Marjorie Ware. Mr. Ware is survived by his sister MaryBeth Grider and husband Dale of Longview, Texas. He is also survived by his son Grant Ware and wife Pamela; daughters Laura Tacinelli and husband Jerry; Aileen Lain and husband Tim; Gayle McVeigh and husband Kevin; all of Lakeland, 11 grand-children Robyn Ware; Matthew and Geoffrey Tacinelli; Hilary, Nathan, and Emily Lain; Harrison, Marshall, and Colleen McVeigh; Denice Miller; and Darlene Earls, 7 great grandchildren Carlos Santiago; Kareem Khoumassi; Izabella Chaparro; Briana, Brandon, Brittany, and Bradley Earls.

Mr. Ware was a devoted family man and a loving father. He loved children and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, September 22nd at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens Chapel at 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, FL, 33810. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice at 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL, 33823 (863) 297-1880.
