James Asbury Dailey received a crippling knee wound in the Civil War.
In Franklin County Georgia on March 27, 1853, he married Hepsebeth "Hepsie" Bellamy born 29 April 1834 and died 12 February 1920. They had seven children:

Mary M. Dailey, born circa 1862, died____, married Tom Keezee.

Thomas James Dailey, born 4 Dec. 1865, died 31 Aug. 1955. #30275826, on 22 Dec. 1887 married Molly (Mary) Ragsdale #30275895.

Mattie Lucretia Dailey, born circa 1868, died 1928, married Eppie "Epp" Eddins Coffee, born 1862, died 1963, son of John M. Coffee (??#76450621??) and Martha Terrell, seven children including Ophelia Coffee buried this cemetery (note date errors) #39621795. Ella Inez Coffee Wells, also buried this cemetery #96686700 1897 - 1979, Troy Hawkins Coffee #115971872 1909 - 2004.
