Edna moved to Major County, Oklahoma with her folks in 1900. Edna and George lived in that area where all of their children were born. She kept her brother's (Gordon) girls for a while when his wife was sick. The family moved to Perryton, Texas in 1920 where Edna lived until 1951 or 52, then Edna moved to Everett Washington area, where she lived until her death. (cardiac arrest). Edna wanted to be buried under their huge trees, and she is buried there.

Mrs. Edna Norris, 76, of 1831 Columbia Ave., Pinehurst, died at her home Wednesday afternoon after an extended illness. Mrs. Norris was born in Upton, Iowa, May 14, 1878, and had resided in the Everett area for a little over one year. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Lilah Alf of 3605 Rucker Ave. and Mrs. Loretta Walker of 2501 1/2 Grand Ave.; two sons, Lester of 1831 Columbia Ave. and LaRue of Perryton, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. M. E. Gothard of Kirksville, Mo.; four brothers, W. G. Seay, Mena, Ark., D. L. Seay of Sheldon, Mo., T. A. Seay of Joplin and L. C. Seay of Drumwright, Okla. and four grandchildren.
