Alice Bise, resident of North Platte since 1944, died July 30, 1992, at a local nursing home. She was 82.

Alice was born December 12, 1910, in Republic County, KS to Horace Eugene and Sadie Sarah Strickland Ocobock. On June 5, 1928, she married Lawrence Auldin Bise at Winfield, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 3, 1983.

Mrs. Bise was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons and wives, Raymond and Donna of Wichita, Kansas, Garold and Merna of Springfield, Ohio, and Glen and Lois of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Pauline Tomlinson and Barbara (Mrs. Garnet Hudson) both of Hershey, Nebraska; a sister, Agnes Windhorst of Deshler, Nebraska 23 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, a sister and three grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.

Services were conducted at Adams & Swanson Chapel August 4, 1992, at 1:30 p.m. Words of comfort by The Reverend Pam Ditson, First Christian Church, North Platte. Soloist, Larry Weigant, sang "In The Garden", "Just A closer Walk" and "I'll Never Walk Alone", with Genevieve Eaves as organist. Pallbearers were Michael Epping, Junior Keslar, Robert Hudson, Ray Powell, Loren Johnson and Delbert Sommers. Burial was in Floral Lawns Cemetery, North Platte, Nebraska.
