Mr. Ennis Slayton (E.S.) McDade, age 63, of 1541 Vinson Highway, died late Sunday July 13 after an apparent heart seizure. Mr. McDade was a native of Putnam County but had made his home in Milledgeville most of his adult life. He was owner and operator of E.S. McDade Grocery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Pennington McDade of Milledgeville; one daughter, Mrs. Ennise Burke of Milledgeville, one sister, Mrs. Mary Stubbs of Milledgeville, four brothers, Mr. Johnny Mcdade, Mr. Tommy McDade, Mr. Ed McDade and Pete McDade all of Milledgeville, one grandson, Joseph Slayton Burke of Milledgeville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Ennis Slayton McDade will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop James Deraney officiating.
Williams Memorial Chapel of Milledgeville in charge of arrangements.
