Raquel M. Garcia, 92, passed away, surrounded by her children, on June 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Garcia; and her daughter, Anna Lujan. She is survived by her children, Joe (Theresa) Garcia, Erlinda (Mike) Finn, Cecilia (Bruce) Abo, Don (Patsy) Garcia and son-in-law, J.P. Lujan; grandchildren, Jacque, Joseph, Jessica, Jennifer, Ryan, Matt, Carlo and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Mikhail, Jalen, Rachel, Preston and Nicolas; and brothers, Epifanio, Palemon and Roberto Martinez. Raquel was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, where she served on the Altar Society SHC. Faith and family were very important to Raquel. She was very kind and always looked after the less fortunate. Thank you to the Life Care Center for their exceptional care of Raquel. Rosary, 7 p.m. Tuesday, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
