Marjorie Lee Allen Kennedy on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. Wife of Daniel R. Kennedy, Jr. of Houma, LA. Daughter of the late Enos Ray Allen and Edna Mae Pendleton Allen. Mother of Danny Allen Kennedy and wife, Helen, Dannette Marie Kennedy, Terri Ann Kennedy Charpentier and husband, Derrick all of Houma, LA and the late Kelly Rodrick Kennedy. Sister of Leon Ray Allen, Mildred Scott, Mary Jane Bowls of Owensboro, KY and Beverly Ann Marsh of Jacksonville, FL. Also survived by six grandchildren: Clay "C.J." Joseph Naquin, Jr., Garett Paul Charpentier, Laura Kelli Charpentier, Scottie Brien, Brittany Kennedy and Alexis Kennedy. Age 68 years. A native of Owensboro, Kentucky and a resident of Houma, Louisiana. She was a past member of the Bourg Lions Ladies Auxiliary and an Instructor for T.A.R.C. for 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, 5899 Hwy. 311, Houma, LA with Interment at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time.
