Roy Leo Easley, 81 of Kirksville passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

The son of Roy O. and Lorene(Epperson)Easley, he was born October 24, 1932 in Lacrosse, Missouri. He served in the United States army, was a minister of Evangelist, and was a farmer. He farmed in the Kirksville area for many years and loved to be on the farm. He had the ability to fix and repair any of the equipment on the farm.

He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and loved to watch cattle auctions.

Roy is survived by one brother, Howard Easley and wife Lila Rose; four sisters, Lula Mae Bailey and husband Robert, Rhoda Ellen Tomich, Janet Jean Miley and Linda Lorene Tripp; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Monday September 15, 2014 at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Rob Linhart and Tommy Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Monday at the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home Kirksville, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Church of God of Prophecy.
