The Nazarene Church was filled Tuesday afternoon when friends gathered to attend the funeral services of Mrs. N. B. DeArman (Carrie) who passed away at the home of her son in Ardmore OK on Aug 9, 1930.

She had been termed the "Sainted Woman" and her life was filled with deeds of consideration and love. She has been a devoted Christian since she was 12 years old. She became interested in unfortunate girls and an orphanage at Pilot Point, TX and has given her life to the wonderful work of being field representative for the home. She worked for Pilot Point for over 16 years.

Mrs. DeArman was born in Ohio May 24, 1863. In young life, she married Mr. Still. A son Charles survives his mother from this union. She married Newton B.DeArman in 1896 in Abilene, TX. They adopted twin daughters in 1898, Dora (Mrs. John Skinner) and Dolly Callaham. Dora Skinner survives her mother.

Mrs. DeArman was buried beside her husband, who died in 1929, in the Portales Cemetery.

Services were conducted by Rev. R.C. Gunstream. Pallbearers were young men to whom she had been a wonderful inspiration. They were A.M. Marsh, George Whitson, R.C. Lewis, Homer Nelson, J.A.Sanders, and Clarence Rice.
