Opera Singer. One of the most famed Swedish women of her time. She was the daughter of Jonas Nilsson and Stina Cajsa Månsdotter. She made her name as an extremely talented soprano and became one of the most renowned opera stars of the 19th century in the world. She withdrew from the stage in 1888, and spent the rest of her life as countess de Casa Miranda, married to a Spanish noble.
