He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers – Alvin (Wynetta) Parker, Lavelle (Shirley) Parker, and Gordon (Jean) Parker. Three Sisters Zola (Glenn) Christensen, Lona (Freeman) Covert, Glenna (Dave) Boehme. – A daughter Jacqueline (Dennis) Roberts, and two sons' – Michael Parker and Daniel Parker, one grandson and three great grandchildren.
He is survived by his sisters Loy (Neil) Christensen and Opal (Glen) Nelson. His daughters Kodie Parker, Shelly Wright, Leeann (Clint) Kaae, Denise (Russ) Brenick). His sons – Jeff (Lisa) Parker, David (Sarah) Parker. Twenty Great Grandchildren and forty four grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
He had a huge heart and loved his family and friends very much. We all knew him as dad, grandpa, grampy or grumpy, gramps, Shane, Derell, Oscar, Uncle ("D"). He answered to all of his names with a huge smile and was happy to visit you. He always had a keen sense of humor. He was very quick witted and loved to tease everyone and put a smile on everyone's face. We will miss him so very much.
There will be a graveside service at the Millville Cemetery in Millville, Utah at 11 A.M. on Friday September 12th and a family luncheon at the Mendon Stake Center 460 South 100 East Mendon, Utah at 1 P.M. to meet and visit with his family and friends.
