Alice Meitzler, 64, of Hamilton, OH, formerly of East Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly Sunday October 13, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Lebanon on June 20, 1949, a daughter of George and Gertrude (Mease) Herb of Hamilton, OH. Alice lived in East Stroudsburg for many years with her late husband Charles H. Meitzler, who passed away on September 5, 2002.
Alice was a member of Stroudsburg Berean Bible Fellowship Church, Stroudsburg and enjoyed needlepoint.
Surviving in addition to her parents are sisters, Sheila Turner and her husband Ronald of Macungie; and Elizabeth Riczko and her husband Charles of Hamilton, OH; brothers, George L. Herb of Hamilton, OH; and James Herb and his wife Pamela of East Stroudsburg; seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg. Interment will follow in Keller's Cherry Valley Cemetery, Cherry Valley Road, Stroudsburg.
A public visitiation will be held at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, on Saturday October 19, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. -11:00 A.M.
