Memorial services for James C. Funderburk, 69, of Halfway, will be held May 16 in Murfreesboro, Ark.
Cremation arrangements are by Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, Ark.
Mr. Funderburk died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 2, 1933, in Murfreesboro. He served stateside with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an industrial mechanic for Owens-Corning in Amarillo before retiring. He moved to Halfway in 2001.
He was a member of the Plainview American Legion.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Stephenson of Halfway and Donna Hamner of Sapulpa, Okla; a son, Duane Funderburk of Amarillo; a sister, Jo Lindsay of St. Joseph, Ill; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Darla Evans, one brother and three sisters are deceased.
