Mr. Rayford Elliott Brooks age 67 of Fort Payne, AL passed away Friday, September 20, 2002 at his residence. Mr. Brooks was the son of the late; Roy and Josie Allen Brooks. He was a native of Jackson County, AL, a member of the Second Baptist Church of Fort Payne, AL, member of the Dekalb County V.F.W. Post 3128, Fort Payne Masonic Lodge No. 437, Alhambra Shrine Temple in Chattanooga, TN, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

MR. Brooks is survivied by his Wife; Betty Jo Brooks, Daughter and Son-in-law; Dejuana and Danny Williams of Savannah, GA., Melissa and Donnie Pack of Henagar, AL., Audrey and Frank Humpreys of Fort Payne, AL
Brothers; Roy Brooks, Jr. of Leesburg, AL. Bruce and Waylon Brooks of Fort Payne, AL
Sister; Jo Nell McNew of Fort Payne, AL
Grandchildren; Colton and Cassidy Pack, Robert and Morgan Petitt.

Funeral service will be 2pm CDT Sunday, September 22, 2002 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with rev. Steve Lusk and Rev. Ronald Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12, 2002 from 4 until 8pm CDT.
