GERALDINE CHILDERS-MARR Age 87, passed away March 2, 2006 in Dickinson, Texas. She was born October 9, 1918 in Ferris, Texas and was the youngest child of Ophelia Guy Childers and Hardy W. Childers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Andrew Marr, Sr., her brothers, Robert Childers, Horace Childers, and sister, Thelma Childers Wrede. Mrs. Marr is survived by her daughter, Martha Jo Lewis and son-in-law, Larry Lewis of Dickinson, and her son, William Andrew Marr, Jr. of Terrell, Texas. Grandchildren are Erin Lewis, and wife, Marca of Austin, Leslie Terry and husband Patrick Terry, Sr. of San Leon, Texas and Dylan Hardy Marr of Terrell. Great grandchildren are Patrick Terry, Jr., of Gresham, Oregon and Sean Hollis of Austin, Texas and many other loving family members. The family extends special thanks to Priscilla Arvie for the loving care given to Mom for 2 years, and to the Hospice Care Team. Family will receive friends from 3 -5 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 S.R.L. Thornton, Dallas, Texas.
