Mrs. A. Esther Rapp, 72, of 1531 Allen street, Allentown, died at her home at 7:30 a.m. yesterday. She was the wife of William C. Rapp. Born in Hazleton, Mrs. Rapp was the daughter of John and Barbara (Zell) Stauffenberg. She was employed as a seamstress at the Allen Laundry until her retirement in 1956 and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Harry Zinggeler, Allentown; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Siglin, Asbury Park, N. J.; and Mrs. Lottie Filbert, Hazleton, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton street, Allentown with interment in the Highland Park Cemetery.
