Mrs. Charles Stecker, 787 Peace street, died at her home at 10:50 p.m. yesterday. She had been ailing for several years. The deceased was born in Hazleton, a daughter of the late John and Barbara Zell Stauffenberg, and resided in the area her entire life. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband and the following children: Mrs. Michael Antolick, Hazleton; Vernon, St. Johns, and Mrs. Andrew Pastirchak of Levittown. Three sisters, Mrs. Martha Siglin and Mrs. Adam Filbert of Hazleton, Mrs. Esther Raap of Allentown and five grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. from the Grebey Funeral Home with Rev. Allan H. Roth officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Laurel Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and evening.
