JACOB FENDER ROBBINS was born September 1, 1868, in Wayne County, Indiana. Jacob was the son of Harlan Price Robbins and Mary Ann (Fender) Robbins. He was a carpenter and lived in Wayne County all of his life.

He married May Smoker on November 5, 1894. May was born on July 25, 1877. They had a son (JR Russell) born on February 27, 1897, and a week later May (Smoker) Robbins died, on March 5, 1897. Then just 2 months later the baby died on May 9, 1897.

Jacob remarried on November 16, 1899 to Anna Borton, daughter of Alfred and Lydia (Russell) Borton. She was born at Webster, Indiana on November 11, 1880. Anna died on May 11, 1946, in Richmond, IN and was buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Centerville, IN. Jacob died in Richmond, on February 17, 1952, and was also buried at Crown Hill Cemetery. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge since March 13, 1903. They had the following children: Fredoline, Richard Randle,John Wilbur, twins Robert Alfred and Roland Harlan.

They are holding their grandson, Lewis Randle Robbins, son of Richard Randle and Harriet Roxy Lewis Robbins.
