Mary Ann Fender was the daughter of Littleton Fender and Agner Conners and married Harlan Price Robbins on September 5, 1855. After their marriage they located on her parent's place, near Momence, Illinois, where they remained one year. They returned to Wayne County and rented land one season, after which Harlan purchased thirty acres of the old homestead, in 1859, and this was their home until 1868. They had ten children.
