Coralynne moved with her family as a child to University City, Missouri where she attended University City High School. She went on to enroll at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing in 1977.
After graduation, she moved to New York City where she began her career in advertising at Ziff Davis and People Magazine. After many years of devoted hard work, Coralynne moved her career to Los Angeles, California during the early nineties. While in California, she worked for the Los Angeles Times newspaper in marketing, Chanticleer Studios in production and as an independent screenwriter.
Family and friends were very important to Coralynne. She never thought twice about extending herself to anyone in need. She particularly enjoyed family celebrations, reading and critiquing movies. She attended a monthly book club at the U-City Library. She used her creativity to make beautiful, one of a kind jewelry.
'' Aunt Cora '' , as she was affectionately known, was baptized as a child in Lexington, Kentucky. Although she physically stopped attending church, she received Christ into her life.
Coralynne was pre-deceased by her mother, Cathryn Inman Adams in 2002. She leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Dr. William Wesley Adams of St. Louis, MO; her sister, Joanne Adams of St. Louis, MO; her brother, Williaim Wesley Adams, III and sister-in-law, Lesli Adams of Los Angeles, CA; nieces, Danielle Elan Fields of St. Louis, MO, and Brynn Leigh Adams of Los Angeles, CA; nephew, William Wesley Adams, IV of Los Angeles, CA; cousins, Ruby Greene of Raleigh, NC, Hortense Thacker and Florence Jones of Washington, D.C., Yolonda Strauss of Nicholasville, KY, A. Rudolph Swann and F. Leander Swann of Fayetteville, NC, Timothy Swann of San Francisco, CA, Michael Swann of Virginia Beach, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
