Lois Winifred Bybee Anderson passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 of natural causes.
Lois was a lifelong resident of Uintah, Utah where she had many friends and relatives. She was active in the Uintah 1st Ward all her life where she served in many church callings. Lois loved to cook and often said that cooking was “therapy” for her.
Her love for cooking lead her to be a school lunch cook where she would often “try out” new recipes on her family before she would cook them for her school. She was noted among family for her cinnamon rolls. One nephew could always smell them several miles away and somehow seemed to SHOW up every time she would bake them.
She was preceded in death by her eternal companion Albert J. Anderson, a son Lyle Jay Anderson, a grandson Matthew Orin Anderson, a great granddaughter Ava Lynn Vermaas, four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter: Laron Glen Anderson, Curtis Lee (Lori) Anderson, Clark Orin (Patti) Anderson, and Barbara Jean(Tracy) Carter; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters: Rosalie Garner and Ina Malan; and two brothers: Calvin Reid Bybee and Grant Bybee.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836-36th St., Ogden, Utah with a viewing Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 6 pm – 8 pm and one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Primary Children’s Hospital.
