Mr. Bobby Eugene Dickson of Carrollton, Georgia, was born February 20, 1933 in Oconee County, Georgia, the son of the late David Arzo Dickson and Cora Cornelia Mangrum Dickson. He passed away on Thursday evening, May 3, 2018.

He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served with United States Army. He was employed thirty-six years with General Motors at the Lakewood Plant in Atlanta, GA and the Shreveport Assembly Plant in Shreveport, LA.

He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and going out to eat with his family and friends. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Christ Way Worship Center.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings Hattie Blanche Dickson Cook, Rhoda Janie Dickson Bradley, Mary Eleanor Dickson Kirk, Thomas Wade Dixon, Margaret (Mossie) Drucilla Dickson Anthony, Sara Mae Dickson Camp, James (Jay) William Dickson, Lena Doris Dickson Stewart, and David Arzo Dickson, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Laura Mae Patton Dickson, his children Susan (Gary) Hewitt, Sharon (Jeff) Dorough, Sandra (Kenneth) Koch, Samuel (Elizabeth) Dickson and Stanley Dickson, his granddaughters and their children.
