Born June 20, 1902 in Luna, New Mexico to Mansel Hardy Thompson and Clara Jane White Thompson. Married Susie Melvina Mower, December 12, 1923 in the Salt Lake Temple. She passed away September 15, 1944. Married Maude Lucinda Dodge Fisher, June 17, 1963. She passed away August 30, 1981. He worked for many years for the U.S. Civil Service at Hill Air Force Base as a warehouse worker.Survived by son, Gary R. Thompson (wife, Claudia), Sandy; two daughters, Renee Soltis (husband, John) and Nelda Wylie (husband, Billy Jo), both of Rock Springs; 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; sister, Elta Mae Jackson, Roy; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 1994, 11 a.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Monday evening 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the North Ogden Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, Utah.
