GASTONIA ~ Kermit Andrew Boone, 70, was a son of the late Ruby Skidmore and Roy L. Boone Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Boone; son, Stevie Andrew Boone; brothers, Roy, Charles, Joe and Leslie Boone; sisters, Clarebell Robenson Tintera and Justin Ann Pressnell.
Kermit was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Gastonia and a fireman with the City of Gastonia for many years. He was an avid sports fan who loved golf, football, baseball, basketball and racing.
Interment in Hollywood Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
