Services for Mrs. Myrtle White Blagg, 79, of Minden, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday Dec. 15 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden. The Rev. Paul Cassels and he Rev. Joe Windham officiated. Burial was at Tulip Cemetery near Athens.
Mrs. Blagg, a homemaker and resident of Webster Parish for 47 years, died at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 13, 1985, at her residence after a short illness. She was a native of Claiborne Parish, LA. Mrs. Blagg was a member of the Pine Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. C. R. Blagg of Minden; one son, Marion R. Blagg of Minden; one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Simpson of Bossier City; one sister, Mrs. Effie Mae Shaw of Homer; four grandchildren, Jackie D. Blagg, Terry A. Blagg, Linda G. Simpson; one great-grandchild, Nicole Blagg; and numerous nieses and nephews.
