Stephen and Anna Wilson came to Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania from New York in 1799, when Mason was nine months old. Stephen was an assessor of Bridgewater township, and was one of the commissioners of Susquehanna County in 1815. "They left Bridgewater township in 1819 and settled at Wysox, Bradford Co., and in 1823 removed thence to West Almond, Allegany Co., New York, where they remained for seven years, when they settled at Belfast, on the Genesee, where they died."

Stephen had a brother named Samuel, as did Anna, his wife. Samuel Cogswell's memorial #249396060

Stephen was coroner 1812 - pg. 44 & 45 of the Susquehanna Book.
Stephen was commissioner in 1815 .

The oldest child was David Goff Wilson, born 28 Mar 1796 in Burlington, Otsego, New York. David died in 1846 in Ohio.
