COTTAGE GROVE - Grace P. Hartman of Cottage Grove died Feb. 6 of congestive heart failure. She was 72.
She was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Aurora, Ill. Her marriage to Donald Owen ended in divorce. She married Homer Hartman in May 1976, in Vancouver, Wash. He died Dec. 2, 2004.
A 35-year resident of Cottage Grove, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, was an avid reader of science fiction and was a collector of old movies. She also enjoyed shopping at garage sales.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Bennett of Benicia, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Linda Dausel of Grants Pass; a stepson, Alan of Woodbridge, Va.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No service is planned, with inurnment at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove is in charge of arrangements.
