Daughter of Jacob and Lida Dilts Polhemus. She had lived from Westfield from 1932 to 1991, when she moved to Whitehouse Station. She died in Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, Pa. at the age of 92.

She was a 1922 graduate of Flemington High School and a 1924 graduate of Trenton Normal School. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Westfield in the 1929's and 1930's.

She was married to John Bloys, who died in 1994.

Survived by two sons, one of which was Allen K. Bloys, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her sister, Margaret Polhemus lives in Belgrade Lakes, Me.

Her obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on January 8, 1998.
