Edward (Ed) Thomas Goodman was born at home in Oak Cliff on October 31, 1919. Preceded in death by: Father, Wimberly Goodman, Mother, Alma Goodman, Brother, Wimberly Goodman Jr., Sister, Margaret Ellen Goodman Hogue and Sister, Mary Angeline West. Baptized at First Baptist Church of Dallas and attended Sunset High School was a Two year letterman in football. He married Eva Ellen Goodman (deceased) on July 21, 1941. World War II veteran, US Army in Philippines and occupation force in Hiroshima, Japan. He worked for BF Goodrich company for 25 years from warehouse to sales management and retired in 1974. Resident and cattle ranch in Kerens, Tx and raised Red Angus cattle for 35 years. He loved hunting and his hounds, as well as his woods and fields. His greatest love was his wife and family. Survivors; son, Edward T. Goodman Jr, favorite daughter in law, Ladonna Goodman, grand children, Shanna Goodman, Robin Pitre and husband Mat Pitre, Great Grand Children, Hayden Pitre, Mason Pitre, Edward Landon Pitre and Gwendolyn Pitre, and sister, Mary Angeline West and husband Bill West as well as, many other loving family members and faithful friends. Graveside service will be held Thursday 12:00PM at Grove Hill Cemetery.
