Staff Sergeant Jimmy Bedgood, Light Weapons Infantryman, C Company, 52nd Infantry, 716th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Group, 18th Military Police Brigade, U.S. Army Vietnam, Army of the United States. Killed In Action Gia Dinh Province, South Vietnam.

SSgt Bedgood received four Bronze Star Medals for heroism, at least one of the awards carried a "V" device for unique Valor. He also received two Purple Hearts for injuries received in the line of battle.

He is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC; name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 55e, Line 39.
