"Pauline K. Welling, 67, of Salmon Drive, Springfield Township, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Akron General Medical Center. She was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Fredericktown, Pa., to Charles and Edna (Hess) Hepler. She had been employed by Kent State University for 15 years. Survivors include her husband, Thomas; son, ...; five grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Baumgarner, in May 2003. Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, with Pastor Edward P. Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent."
