Prof. O. F. Revercomb, of north of town, and Miss Alice Mefford, of near Lakenan, stole a march on their relatives and friends last Saturday by being united in marriage at the home of the officiating minister, Rev. C. E. Wagoner, at Shelbyville.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Mefford, and is a charming young lady.
The groom is one of our most promising young school teachers, he has charge of the Union Chapel school this year.

Mr. Revercomb was the son of Harley and Rebecca Howe Revercomb.
He married Rightie Arbuckle in 1923, in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife and one daughter, Rightie Rebecca Pappenheim.

O.N. REVERCOMB DIES IN WISCONSIN – Shelbina, Mo. – O. N. Revercomb, age 73, died Wednesday morning in a hospital at West Allis, Wis. Where he had been a patient for twelve days. The body will arrive in Shelbina Saturday morning and will be taken to the Hayes Funeral Home where services will be held the same afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Arthur Huff, the local Methodist pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Hunnewell. Mr. Revercomb was a native of the Hunnewell community where he graduated from the high school and taught school for a number of years. He continued his teaching profession after moving to Wisconsin and retired about four years ago. Since his retirement from teaching, he has been working for a book firm there. Survivors include his widow and one daughter. He was an only child and has but few immediate relatives living.
