Carol is the daughter of Elmer Truman Goforth and Amelia Evelyn Jones. She has two brothers and two sisters. She was the 1954 Colusa County Harvest Festival Queen. She married/eloped with (1) Leo Beauchamp in Carson City, in June 1955 (they were divorced). She married (2) Michael Orlich. According to her obituary, they had one son named Mark Orlich. In Michael's obituary, Mark is listed as his stepson.
