OPAL ABRAMS
Opal Abrams, 81, Sullivan, died at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 1991, at Mary Sherman Hospital, Sullivan.
She was born April 9, 1910, in Sullivan County to John and Ollie Powell Wilson. She was a member of Shaker Prairie Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Abrams, who died in 1956; one son, David Abrams; and two brothers.
Surrvivors include two sons, Donald Abrams, Merom, and Ellis Abrams, Salem, N.H.; two daughters, Anna Spencer, Sullivan; and Carolyn Dooley, Vincennes; four sisters, Edith England and Margaret Hampton, both of Indianaplis, Irene Isbell, Anderson, and Dorothy Hardesty, Avon; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gordon E. Utt Carlisle Chapel with John S. Lyttle officiating,. Burial is in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Carlisle. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday.
