DIES FOLLOWING HEART ATTACK
Services for William Earl Abrams, 47, Carlisle R. 3, who died at 10:45 Thursday night at the Mary Sherman Hospital following a heart attack, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shaker Prairie Christian Church. Rev. Donald Tharp officiated and burial followed in Carlisle Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of the Schultz funeral home.
A dirt excavation contractor all of his life, Mr. Abrams was a member of the Shaker Prairie Christian Church.
He was the son of the late William and Winnie Humphrey Abrams. He was born August 22, 1908 and married Opal Mary Wilson on August 18, 1930.
Surviving are the wife, Opal; three sons, Donald and David, both of Carlisle, and Ellis of Haver Hill, Mass., two daughters, Anna Mae Spencer of Graysville and Joyce Abrams of Carlisle; four brothers, Pearly of Elwood, Charles and Curtman, both of Wyoming, Illinois, and Elza, of Detroit, and three grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two infant sons - Michael and Ronald
