Richard L. "Dick" Speicher, 70, Marion, died at 5:35 am, Friday, August 15, 2014 in his residence.
He was born in Marion, Indiana to the late Raymond Speicher and Charlotte (Black) Speicher and was a graduate of LaFontaine High School. He married Judy Darnell on July 2, 1965. Richard and Judy had been married for 49 years. She survives.
Richard was employed at General Motors as a millwright and attended Grace Community Church for the past 17 years. He served on the Washington Township Board of Trustees for over 10 years and was a volunteer for the Washington Township Fire Department for 16 years.
In addition to his wife and mother, Richard is survived by his daughters, Kellie (Tim) Stoffel, Roanoke, IN, and Stefanie (Mark) Goodman, Marion, IN; brothers, Phillip (Marilyn) Speicher, Robert 'Bob' (Connie) Speicher, Dean (Sandy) Speicher; grandchildren, Spencer Goodman, Isaiah Goodman, and Asher Stoffel; his beloved pet, "Lucy the Dog".
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Speicher.
