Death of Fremont Persons.
Verdel, Neb., Feb. 20.—Special to The News: Fremont Persons died at 6 o’clock yesterday morning at his home five miles south of Verdel. Mr. Persons was ailing for the past two years during which time he had undergone an operation at the St. Joseph hospital in Omaha. He was bothered with lung and heart disease, the latter being the cause of his death. He was forty-seven years old and lived in this vicinity for seventeen years.
