ASBERRY ALEXANDER
Asberry Alexander died very suddenly last Thursday afternoon at his home in Trafalgar, from heart failure.
He was seated in a chair talking to Mr. Parsley, when he suddenly leaned back in his chair and expired, death coming so calmly that Mr. Parsley was unaware of the fact for a few moments.
Deceased was born in Tennessee and had been a resident of this county for seventy years. He was seventy-four years of age. Until his removal to Trafalgar, about ten years ago, he had resided on his farm.
He leaves a wife and six children, one son, Cyrus, who is a clerk in Hendricks & Webb’s store in this city. He was a brother of the late Mat and Arm Alexander. Burial at Greenlawn cemetery.
