He was born July 5, 1938 in O'Donnell, TX. He married Marian Dunn on November 23, 1968 in Amarillo, TX. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Mission in Olton, TX and was a member of the Mission Service Corp. He was a member of
Lubbock First Baptist Church Orchestra and had served in the U.S. Navy, and was the coordinator for Disaster Relief Program for the Texas Panhandle Region. He retired from the military and from the Lubbock Department of Public
Safety. He was a longtime resident of Shallowater.
