Mrs. G. T. Pace of Stanley Dies
Brief Illness Causes Death of Wife of Stanley Postmaster. (Bertha Louise) Mrs. Grover T. Pace, 55, of Stanley, died suddenly last night after being rushed to the Victory hospital in Stanley when she was taken ill. She was the wife of Grover T. Pace, postmaster at Stanley. Her passing came as a shock to her many friends.

Mrs. Pace was born May 13, 1884, at Strum, and spent her early life there. She was married to Mr. Pace June 24, 1915 at Strum. The couple lived for several years at Adams and Berlin, coming to Stanley in 1918, where they have resided since.

She is survived by her husband and three children,
1. Grover T. Pace Jr.,
2. Dorothy Ann and
3. Margaret Jean.
Also surviving are five sisters and three brothers, Miss Anna and Miss Inga Dahl of Strum, Miss Julia Dahl of Eau Claire; Miss Louise Dahl of Stanley, and Marie, Mrs. Wm. Boose of Rochester, Indiana; her brothers are Alfred Dahl of Spokane, Martin Dahl and John Dahl of Paris, Texas.

Mrs. Pace was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge and was associated with the choir of Our Saviour's Lutheran church in Stanley. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending word from her brothers ins Texas. The services will, however, take place at Our Saviour's Lutheran church in Stanley, with Rev. J. M Midlen officiating.
