Rites Held for Former Speaker of State Assembly (WHITEHALL), Wis. Funeral services were held for John L. Dahl, 64, former speaker of the house In the Wisconsin legislature, Wednesday afternoon at the West Beef River church in Strum, the Rev. N. Bertnson officiating.
Mr. Dahl was found dead in bed Saturday morning at the home of his sisters, the Misses Anna and Julia Dahl, in the town of Unity, with whom had resided the past several months. He had been in ill health for some time. Mr. Dahl, as a Rice Lake attorney, was prominent in Progressive party politics in the early 1920s.
