Mrs. Ninya Chouteau, the wife of Alex Chouteau was found dead in her bed Tuesday morning. She died in a house in the north part of the city, next door to her brother, C.C. Cornatzer, with her four children. When the children awoke they endeavored to arouse their mother, but failing they went over and informed the folks. The previous evening the lady complained of pain in the chest or side but the circumstance received no consideration until she was found as stated. Deceased was thirty-nine years of age and left four children, the oldest nine years of age and the youngest a babe in arms, and several brothers and sisters. The burial took place at the family grave yard some miles below here [Vinita] Tuesday evening.
