“A Sudden Death
The wife of Limus Simmons, who lives near the village, was found dead in her bed last Sunday morning. Her death was first discovered by the cries of her little infant which she held in her cold arms. Simmons is a colored Baptist Minister and an ex-member of the legislature. A post mortem examination was held Sunday afternoon and the jury of inquest found a verdict according to the facts.”
