Mrs. Amos Stevens was called to Genoa Monday on account of the death of her sister, Mrs. Mahala Willard, who was poisoned on the Fourth by eating pressed chicken that was placed in a tin dish. There were 14 in the company and 11 ate of the pressed chicken and every one were sick, some are not out of danger yet. V.F. Stevens and Dick Stevens, with their families, attended the funeral Wednesday of Mrs. Willard.
