Josie was a young pup when her original owner Teresa died from Leukemia in dec 1990. after Teresa's death her mother took Josie and Josie's companion J.J.. Josie and JJ became the parents of several puppies all grown now. Josie died in 1997. she was survived by several sons and daughters still living. JJ died a few months later believed by some to have died from grief over Josie's death JJ was buried next to Josie in their owner's backyard with small concrete gravemarkers.
