WOLFENBARGER LUSTER MAYES — age 98, of South Knoxville, passed away 12:58 am Wednesday, March 9, 1994 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church. Preceded In death by husband, R.H. Wolfenbarger; son, Walker L Wolfenbarger; daughter, Eva Imogene Wolfenbarger; parents, Newt and Rebecca Mayes; two brothers and several sisters. Surviving, daughters Emma Bowman, Knoxville, Frances Elks, Lexington, Ky; son and daughter-in-law, Dempsey and Grace Wolfenbargar, Atlanta; sister, Ada Miller, Knoxville; brother, Charles O Mayes, Knoxville; grandchildren, Willim Elks, Darlene Atwood, Robert Elks, Susan Cameron, Kimberly Fields, all of Lexington, Ky; ten great -grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 2:30 pm Friday, Berry Chapel. Rev. Richard Richter and Rev Mark Williams officiating. Interment Beulah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Thursday at Berry Funeral Home.
