Mr. Johnson was a native of Hancock County and had lived in Baldwin County most of his life. He was employed at the Milledgeville State Hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Joyce Cox Johnson; two sons, Ronnie Eugene and Harold Ray Johnson, both of Milledgeville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Johnson of Milledgeville; two sisters; Mrs. Barbara Ann Roberts of Haddock and Mrs. Mildred Bonner of Milledgeville; one brother, Cecil Johnson of Milledgeville; three nephews, several aunts and uncles also survive.
The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.

CAUSE OF DEATH: He was working under a automobile taking the Transmission out when it fell on him.
